Charlotte Pass Snow Resort advises that installation of the new Guthries Double Chairlift is progressing, with the principle construction company Doppelmayr continuing their work on this exciting addition to the resort.

The project timeline has been heavily affected by the extensive approval process caused by the Department of Planning NSW and the National Parks and Wildlife Service. These external regulatory requirements have meant unavoidable lengthy delays, despite our best efforts to move the project forward as efficiently as possible.

We are now entering a critical phase of the Guthries Chairlift installation, which will involve helicopter operations over the coming months. These works are scheduled to take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays (subject to change) and may have an impact on road access into the village.
