We’re thrilled to announce that preparations are in full swing for the construction of the new Guthries Double Chairlift at Charlotte Pass Snow Resort!

Recently, we conducted a comprehensive final walkthrough with an independent ecologist, representatives from the NSW Department of Planning, National Parks and Wildlife Services, and Charlotte Pass Management. This collaborative effort focused on designating “no-go” zones to safeguard the threatened species in the area as we gear up for construction.

To ensure safety and efficiency, traffic management measures will be in place throughout the summer, affecting access to three key areas of the resort:

  • Entry to the village via the driveway
  • Access to the turning circle via Kosciuszko Road
  • Access to the village via the Porcupine Rocks to Charlotte Pass walk

Traffic management will primarily be necessary during helicopter operations and heavy vehicle material drop-offs. We are committed to minimizing disruption for our guests and will keep everyone informed about when these temporary changes are likely to occur.

Thank you for your understanding and support as we move forward with the Guthries Double Chairlift project. We can’t wait to unveil this exciting addition to the resort!
