Things to do for first timers

Snow Play

Snow play is one of our favourite things to do at Charlotte Pass and is perfect for all ages. Feel free to make a snowman or two, or make snow angels as the fresh flurries are falling. Just make sure they’re not in the middle of our runs!

Kosi Carpet

The Kosi Carpet is the first lift you’ll experience as a brand new skiier or snowboarder at Charlotte Pass. It’s located on our gentle beginner terrain right next to the Kosciuszko Triple Chair and is included in your lift pass.

The best way to learn is to book a snowsports lesson. Available daily for skiers and snowboarders of all ages*, our experienced team will help you master the slopes in no time. *Snowboarding lessons available for 8+ only.

FAQs

How do I get to Charlotte Pass?

Charlotte Pass is completely snowbound in winter meaning you can’t drive directly to us. You will need to meet one of our oversnow vehicles at Perisher Valley, and you can find more information here.

What happens if I miss my oversnow?

We encourage all guests to be ready for their oversnow 15 minutes in advance, but we understand sometimes this isn’t possible due to poor road conditions or backed up traffic. If you miss your oversnow we will do our best to accommodate you onto the next available service, but there could be lengthy delays depending on availability.

Do I need to pre-book?

We would highly recommend pre-booking your snow holiday with us in advance. You can book everything online from oversnow transport, lift passes, snowsports lessons and equipment hire.

Do you have a kids snowsports program?

Kosi Kids is our dedicated kids snowsports program for 4 – 13 year olds. We have AM, PM and full day options for skiing and snowboarding. You can contact us to find out more.

If there is poor weather can I get a refund?

Charlotte Pass operates in rain, hail, snow or shine. If our lifts are unable to spin and this affects your day trip, our Guest Services team will be in touch to reschedule for another day in the winter season or offer you a credit for the next winter season.
