Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get to Charlotte Pass in winter?

Charlotte Pass is snowbound in winter, with no direct car access. Travel from the Perisher Valley Skitube Terminal aboard our oversnow transport. The Oversnow is a purpose built vehicle that takes you across the snow to the resort. The journey takes approximately 40–45 minutes each way.

Can I visit Charlotte Pass for the day?

Yes! Our ski and snowboard DayTripper package includes return oversnow transport, lift access and lunch. Explore the options on our Plan & Book page.

Where do I park if I'm staying overnight?

There is no overnight parking at Perisher Valley. Park at Bullocks Flat and catch the Skitube to Perisher, or arrange a shuttle from Jindabyne before connecting with your oversnow transport. Skitube is operated by a Third Party Operator, and tickets can be booked through their website. We are unfortuantley unable to help with any Ski Tube bookings or issues.

Is childcare or babysitting available at Charlotte Pass?

Yes. Frosty Kids Club is located in the Kosciuszko Chalet Hotel. Visit Kosciuszko Chalet Hotel Reception for more information. When you stay with Kosciuszko Chalet Hotel you get complimentary kids clubs as part of your stay.

Do you offer packages for snowsports hire and ski and snowboard lessons?

Equipment hire and lessons
Hire and lessons booked on their own are charged separately, with no standalone package discount.

Multi-day packages
Save by combining lift tickets and oversnow transport with equipment hire and/or lessons. Packages are available for 3, 6 or 8 days, with set start dates. Selected packages also receive additional discounts during promotional periods from January to March.
